We need people with all kinds of skills, from all kinds of backgrounds. We will offer roles for underground mine workers, health and safety officers, environmental monitors, managers and administrators. We need summer students, interns and trainees too – that’s why we have set aside £15 million over three years – during construction and the first year of operations – for training, in order to maximise local hiring.
