Exploration began in 2009 and will be on-going through the life of the project.

We have been working in Northern Ireland, with a focus on the Curraghinalt project, since late 2009. Our progress has been considerable:

  • 170,000 metres of drilling at Curraghinalt
  • Completed nearly 2,000 metres of underground development with 3 test stopes
  • 6 mineral resource updates, resulting in a 12x increase in resources
  • Extensive regional sampling and drilling of several regional targets resulting in additional discoveries across the broader licence areas
  • 2 Preliminary Economic Assessments and a positive base-case Feasibility Study released
  • Underground exploration permits granted
  • Planning application for mine submitted

Additional drilling has yielded positive results for Curraghinalt, as shown by the graph below.

2018 Curraghinalt Work Programme

Taking Curraghinalt to production is our primary goal and has been advanced in 2018 through further drilling, engineering and geological studies, and environmental and permitting activities. Dalradian completed infill drilling for the mineral resource update in Q1 and released the mineral resource update during Q2. Engineering, mine planning, geotechnical and ore-sorting studies are ongoing in support of an updated FS.
