We have been working in Tyrone, with a focus on the Curraghinalt project, since late 2009. Our progress has been considerable:

  • 170,000 metres of drilling at Curraghinalt
  • Completed nearly 2,000 metres of underground development with 3 test stopes
  • 6 mineral resource updates, resulting in a 10x increase in resources
  • Extensive regional sampling and drilling of several regional targets resulting in additional discoveries across the broader licence areas
  • 2 Preliminary Economic Assessments and a positive base-case Feasibility Study released
  • Underground exploration permits granted
  • Planning application for mine submitted

Additional drilling has yielded positive results for Curraghinalt, as shown by the graph below.

2019 Work Programme

Building a world-class mine is our primary goal and has been advanced in 2019 through further exploratory drilling, engineering and geological studies, and environmental and permitting activities. An updated feasibility study is expected to be completed in Q3 2019.
