We struck Gold…Again!
We’re proud to announce that Dalradian has achieved Gold Investors in People (IIP) accreditation — a recognition awarded to just 17% of accredited organisations worldwide.
This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in our people and fostering a supportive, high-performing workplace culture.
Building on Our Commitment
Dalradian first received the standard IIP accreditation in 2019 and has now achieved Gold for the second consecutive time following our most recent assessment. This milestone demonstrates our consistent focus on creating an environment where employees can thrive — a priority that has been central to our vision from the beginning.
IIP is a globally recognised benchmark for people management, operating in 66 countries and assessing organisations against a rigorous framework. Their goal is to help businesses inspire, support and develop their teams, ultimately creating better and more productive organisations.

What the Assessment Involved
The IIP assessment process is comprehensive, combining employee surveys with one-to-one interviews and judged against the IIP 9-point framework, which explores areas such as leadership, support, empowerment, recognition, and continuous improvement. This ensures the results reflect the real experiences of our team. We’re particularly proud of the survey findings:
97% of employees said Dalradian is “a great place to work.”
Over 96% agreed they have opportunities to learn at work.
Over 96% said they feel responsible for improving how we do things.
All of these results exceeded both the IIP and industry averages — a reflection of the strong culture and values our people live every day.

Recognition from Our Team
Angela Coney, HR Manager, shared her thoughts on the achievement:
“Achieving IIP Gold is a fantastic milestone for our team. Throughout this journey, we’ve stayed true to Dalradian’s core values — ensuring our people not only understand and align with our vision but also feel supported through comprehensive health and wellbeing initiatives. This Gold accreditation is independent recognition that we have strong policies in place which genuinely support our employees and guide how we work every day.”
Managing Director Brian Kelly also commented:
“We are delighted to have achieved Investors in People Gold accreditation, ranking among the highest within our sector — a standard reached by only 17% of accredited organisations. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team. My congratulations and thanks go to every member of staff for making this possible.”
Continuing to Improve
While we celebrate this success, we are already looking ahead. The IIP report provided valuable recommendations and feedback from our team, which we will use to further strengthen our workplace culture and support every employee in reaching their full potential.
This achievement marks another step on our journey to building a modern mine and a lasting legacy for our people and our community.
